Dynamically Resize Switch

Check this menu item to automatically maintain the equality of the client and drawing areas. If this menu item is not checked you can use the Resize menu command to cause this equality.

Please note that by default this automatic resizing applies only to a drawing, which is not zoomed and this can be changed in the Zoom section of the Preferences dialog by unchecking the Do not auto-resize zoomed image button.
